RUR CL Safety Clip

The Ridg-U-Rak CL safety clip is a small square of steel bent into a wave-like shape that rests in the free space above the beam hooks preventing any movement of the beams and protecting the racking unit from accidental dismantlement. Forklifts can cause accidents like these and are the most common cause of pallet rack failure.

Ridg-U-Rak Pallet Rack Spring Clip

The Ridg-U-Rak Pallet Rack Spring Clip, or “Pinch Pin,” is a unique design compatible with Ridg-U-Rak slotted and teardrop pallet rack systems. Pinch pins are easy to install and provide a secure beam-to-frame connection.

One of the Spring Clip’s top features is its ability to secure two beams simultaneously. It fits inside the upright frame, securing two levels of beams in separate bays. This RUR clip aligns with 3/8″ punch holes.

To install these pinch pins, pinch the sides together while inserting them inside the frame column from the back. Then you release the pins in the aligning holes of the pallet rack cross beam and upright frame.

Ridg-U-Rak Spring and Lock Kit

The Ridg-U-Rak Spring and Lock Kit is another excellent option that functions similarly to the CL clip. The spring and lock kit secures universal teardrop pallet racking. The spring feature creates a tighter, more compact lock between the beam and frame. However, this clip also takes longer to install and is slightly more complex due to this mechanism. 

RUR Autolock Safety Clip

Ridg-U-Rak made the Ridg-U-Tier II Autolock safety clip compatible with nearly any existing teardrop upright frames. This style features a center reinforcing rib, heavier bracing for added strength and rigidity, and larger columns for better impact resistance. 

Autolock safety clips can withstand a maximum capacity of 22,500 lbs during a rack failure emergency. These precautions can be the difference between a disaster and a close call.
